We are seeking a dependable and caring Van Driver / After-School Teacher to safely transport children from local schools and assist with an after-school program.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children from local schools to the childcare center.
- Ensure children are safely loaded, secured, and supervised.
- Follow all transportation and safety procedures.
- Supervise and engage children during after-school activities.
- Assist with homework, games, snacks, and daily routines.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and organized environment.
Qualifications:
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous childcare experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Driver Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a childcare center van.
- Experience transporting children is preferred.
- Must meet all applicable requirements for transporting children in a childcare setting.
