Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom coverage and support as needed.
• Supervise children and participate in age-appropriate learning activities.
• Follow classroom schedules, lesson plans, and daily routines.
• Assist with meals, diapering, restroom breaks, transitions, and rest periods as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Use positive classroom management techniques.
• Follow childcare center policies, health and safety procedures, and licensing requirements.
• Communicate professionally with center directors, teachers, and other staff.

Qualifications:

• CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.

• Position: Substitute Childcare Teacher.
• Locations: Decatur, Covington & Conyers, GA.
• Job Type: Substitute / On-Call.
• Schedule: Flexible; shifts based on childcare center staffing needs.
• Pay: Based on the available shift and center requirements.
