About the Job
We are seeking dependable, caring, and flexible Substitute Childcare Teachers to provide classroom coverage and support as needed.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, can adapt to different classroom environments, and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and positive learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom coverage as needed.
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Follow established classroom schedules, routines, and lesson plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assist with meals, transitions, rest periods, and daily routines.
- Follow center policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with teachers, directors, and other staff.
Qualifications:
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
