We are seeking dependable, caring, and enthusiastic Substitute Childcare Teachers to provide classroom support at childcare centers as needed. This is a great opportunity for early childhood professionals who enjoy working with children and want a flexible schedule while making a positive impact in the classroom.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will step into classrooms when regular staff members are unavailable and help maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom coverage and support as assigned.
Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day.
Follow the classroom's established schedule, lesson plans, routines, and center procedures.
Assist with age-appropriate learning activities, play, meals, transitions, rest periods, and other daily routines.
Maintain a safe, clean, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
Support children's social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs.
Use positive and age-appropriate classroom management techniques.
Follow all childcare center policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures.
Maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios and active supervision at all times.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with center directors, teachers, families, and other staff.
Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, and sanitizing as required.
Adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, schedules, and center environments.
Report any concerns, incidents, or important classroom information to the appropriate center staff.

Qualifications:

CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Previous infant childcare teaching experience preferred.
Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
Must successfully complete all required background checks.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
