Responsibilities:

Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences.
Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting.
Support individual needs by adapting activities for children with disabilities or special requirements in accordance with best practices in special education.
Document developmental observations and maintain accurate records of each child's growth and achievements.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices.
Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required; ongoing training preferred.
Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety.
Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate child supervision techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner.
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus; training in special education is desirable.
